Photo: African Bean Cafe
Café · Knysna, Western Cape
African Bean is a family-run cafe on Main Street in Knysna, set inside an old heritage building with sidewalk tables that give it a European feel. The kitchen turns out hearty breakfasts, gourmet burgers and quiche, with the carrot cake and banana-chocolate pancakes drawing repeat visits. Wifi is reliable and the mood is unhurried. Diners regularly bring dogs to the outdoor stoep tables, where staff bring out a water bowl without being asked.
Note from SitnStay: Dogs are welcomed at the outdoor stoep tables and given a water bowl on arrival; no fee reported.
