Park · Sandton, Gauteng
The outdoor space is enclosed — off-lead time is safe.
Built by the Barbeque Downs Residents Association and opened around 2018, this community dog park on Candican Road sits in Barbeque Downs near Kyalami, on the Midrand side of Sandton, alongside a children's play park and a small eco-park. Visitors describe a fully enclosed off-leash space with agility obstacles for dogs, shaded benches for owners, water bowls and a poop scoop, kept neat by volunteers. It is a free neighbourhood facility rather than a commercial venue, so bring your own bags and respect the shared space.
Note from SitnStay: Off-leash inside the enclosed park; agility equipment is provided. Clean up after your dog and keep the space tidy for other users.
