Bietjie Vrede Guest Farm

Bietjie Vrede is a small guest farm set in a private bird sanctuary at the foot of the Magaliesberg, about an hour's drive from Gauteng. Five self-catering units, each with its own kitchen, bathroom and patio, overlook a swimming pool and garden, and there is a lapa with a braai area plus a licensed chapel used for weddings. Pets are welcomed by prior arrangement, and the farm borders a game reserve with birdwatching, horse riding and canopy tours nearby.
