R950 for a six-week puppy course; R600 per month (4 lessons) for standard obedience/handling classes.
An obedience school operating since 1994 from Merrow Down Park in Magaliesig and AnimaniA Veterinary Hospital in Sandton, teaching everything from puppy socialisation through to advanced obedience. Training leans on positive reinforcement, with dedicated work on jumping, pulling, separation anxiety and recall. Puppy courses run six weeks; ongoing obedience classes meet weekly across weekends, with new intakes starting every two weeks. Vaccination records and an indemnity form are required to join.
Note from SitnStay: Dogs must have current vaccinations and owners must sign an indemnity form to join classes; handlers are responsible for leash control and cleanup during sessions. Training uses positive reinforcement rather than correction-based methods.
