Klein Geluk Cottage

Nestled in the serene setting of the Karoo, Klein Geluk Cottage is the ideal destination for pet lovers. This fully equipped pet-friendly Karoo house is located in one of South Africa's most famous villages, Nieu-Bethesda, near Graaff-Reinet in the Eastern Cape. The cottage comfortably sleeps 4 humans (but can also be booked at a reduced rate for less) and features a fully fenced garden, a romantic stoep, an outdoor braai, and a dam for swimming. The master bedroom boasts an en-suite bathroom with a bath (no shower), while the single bed bedroom shares the main and only bathroom. The lounge includes a fireplace, and the garden features a swim dam for both humans and dogs.

During our guests’ stay in Nieu-Bethesda, we encourage them to explore the village and all that Klein Geluk has to offer, creating cherished memories to take home. Owners Ludolf and Carla Smit also operate the local pizzeria in the village, where wood-fired, thin-based pizzas are made with local produce and topped with fresh herbs and greens from the garden, adding an eccentric Italian Swiss touch. Dogs on leashes are welcome to join their owners for a meal.
