At the foot of Table Mountain in Vredehoek, this long-running neighbourhood cafe recently changed hands and reopened with a refreshed Cape Mediterranean menu. All-day breakfast standouts include Turkish eggs and bircher muesli, with vegan options such as shakshuka alongside the counter's cakes and cupcakes. Regulars use it as a laptop-friendly spot for catching up over coffee, and much of the original front-of-house team stayed on through the change of ownership.
