An early-1900s beach cottage at Bloubergstrand turned heritage restaurant, a few steps from the sand at 18 Generaal Janssens Road with Robben Island across the bay. The kitchen leans into West Coast tradition: fresh seafood, fish and classic local plates across breakfast, lunch and dinner, plus a kids' menu. A playground and plenty of open space make it an easy choice for families, and the venue hosts celebrations and events. Well-behaved, friendly dogs are welcome on a leash to share the outdoor areas with the rest of the family.
Note from SitnStay: Well-behaved, friendly pets are welcome on a leash in the open outdoor spaces, per the official site. Indoor access is not stated.
