Paws on Route offers dog grooming alongside cage-free daycare and boarding from 6 Toktokkie Close in George. Dogs are looked after in a home-style setup rather than in kennels, and the business markets itself around gentle handling of nervous or previously traumatised dogs, aiming to keep the daily routine close to what a dog is used to at home. Pet and house-sitting is offered too, and the team takes dogs of all breeds.
Note from SitnStay: Boarding and daycare are cage-free, with dogs free to move around rather than being kennelled; the business specifically positions itself around calm, patient handling of anxious or traumatised dogs.
