A Saturday-morning farmers' market run by TLU SA since 1992 on Moreleta Street in Silverton, Pretoria, trading from 05:30 to 09:30 and closing only when a Christian holiday falls on a Saturday. Several hundred stalls sell farm produce, meat, eggs, baked goods, preserves, plants and crafts, with pancakes, melkkos and coffee served around small fires on winter mornings. Entry is free and there is a large parking area with attendants. Leashed dogs are a familiar sight among the crowds, and water bowls are set out around the market.
