Seal Alert is not a veterinary practice but a Cape fur seal rescue and rehabilitation operation based at Hout Bay Harbour, Cape Town, founded in the 1990s by the late Francois Hugo. It has since been restructured and now operates as the Hout Bay Seal Rescue Centre, caring for injured, orphaned or stranded seal pups along the Western Cape coast. It has no connection to dog care or pet veterinary services.
Note from SitnStay: This is a marine wildlife rescue centre for Cape fur seals, not a pet-facing veterinary clinic; it has no stated dog policy and appears to be miscategorised in this directory.
