A tent-only camping ground on the R96 at Hekpoort, roughly an hour's drive from Johannesburg in the Magaliesberg. There are no chalets, so campers bring their own gear and pitch on grassed sites served by electrical and water points. A river runs through the property, with walking trails, birdwatching, a swimming pool with two water slides, a playground, trampolines, shaded braai and picnic areas and a kiosk for snacks and cold drinks. Management describes the park as very dog friendly and invites socialised dogs along.
Note from SitnStay: The park describes itself as very dog friendly and asks that dogs brought along be socialised. No pet fee or dog limit is published; confirm details when booking.
