Photo: The Braai Room - Lonehill
Restaurant · Fourways, Gauteng
Run by the family butchery Country Meat, this Lonehill Shopping Centre restaurant cooks its steaks, chops and boerewors over a real wood fire rather than gas. A large open dining room spills onto a deck with indoor and outdoor tables arranged to face the Lonehill Dam and koppie, and a supervised kids area sits beside the seating. It opens from breakfast through dinner seven days a week, and third-party listings describe it as pet friendly, with Lonehill Park a short walk away for a pre-lunch stroll.
Note from SitnStay: Listed as pet friendly by review sites, which note its closeness to Lonehill Park for dog walkers. The restaurant's own site does not publish a pet policy, so assume dogs belong on the outdoor deck and confirm when booking.
