The Kennel is the dog-boarding side of Pet Cottages, a rural farm property near Klein Dassenberg outside Atlantis, roughly 45 minutes from central Cape Town. It runs 32 kennels ranging from compact runs for small breeds to extra-large luxury kennels, plus overflow space for peak holiday periods, with a large communal run for exercise. It also accommodates power breeds like Staffies and Rottweilers in dedicated play areas. Daily rates include ProDog Elite food, and current vaccinations are compulsory before check-in.
Note from SitnStay: Mandatory up-to-date 5-in-1, rabies (14+ days prior) and puppy vaccination series before admission; kennel cough vaccine recommended but not included. A 50% deposit is required in busy periods and is non-refundable if cancelled less than three weeks before check-in. 10% discount for 3+ dogs or stays over 30 days.
