Umhlanga Dog & Cat Grooming Parlour is a long-running grooming salon on Chartwell Drive in Umhlanga Ridge, run by owner Kerry Booth with a five-woman team, some there since it opened over 35 years ago. Dogs and cats are washed, blow-dried, clipped and cut or shaved according to breed, with cats also catered for, unusual among Durban parlours. A collection and drop-off service covers Durban North, La Lucia, Mount Edgecombe and La Mercy for a small fee.
Note from SitnStay: Grooming only, with a two-hour turnaround per animal; last animals must be checked in one hour before closing. Open Tuesday to Saturday, closed Sunday and Monday.
