Warwick Wine Estate

On the R44 between Stellenbosch and Klapmuts, this family wine estate is best known for its picnics spread across lawns, the water's edge and sheltered Forest Pods under the oaks. Seasonal picnic boxes come in meat, vegetarian and vegan versions, with burgers and cheese or charcuterie boards also served. Tastings run daily from 10am to 4pm and a guided vineyard safari operates seasonally. There is a playground for children, and dogs are welcome on a leash across the outdoor areas.
