Woodbush Forest Reserve lies in the Magoebaskloof valley in Limpopo's mist-belt mountains, an afromontane forest reachable via the self-drive Forest Drive road near Haenertsburg. It's one of South Africa's best birding spots, home to the Cape parrot, black-fronted bush-shrike and Narina trogon among many others, and shelters a stand of eucalyptus trees over 80 metres tall, among the tallest in Africa. Trails wind through the forest toward Debegeni Falls, a popular waterfall and picnic spot.
