Beanbag Café

Beanbag Café occupies a shaded garden property on Murray Road in Pietermaritzburg's Hayfields area, built around comfortable couches, bean bags and quiet nooks tucked between shrubs and trees rather than a conventional dining room. A resident family of ducks and fish gives visitors something to watch, and board games and blankets are on hand for slower afternoons. The kitchen runs to cooked breakfasts, scones, waffles and cake alongside coffee and tea, in an unhurried, homely setting.
