Pépère

Pépère is a garden restaurant in Harrington House, Hilton, on the edge of Pietermaritzburg, run by chef-owner Simon. Unassuming decor and a stretch of lawn give it a relaxed, almost countryside feel, with both indoor and outdoor tables. The menu runs from bacon-and-brie burgers to smoked salmon salad and cakes made to order, and a jungle gym keeps children entertained while adults linger over brunch.
