Photo: The Break Room
Restaurant · Pietermaritzburg, KwaZulu-Natal
A daytime cafe on Quarry Road in Hilton village, just above Pietermaritzburg, built around healthy, creative food with plenty of plant-based, vegetarian and gluten-free choices. Regulars come for the signature Sushidogg, the smoothie bowls and a solid breakfast, along with good coffee, juices and cakes. Seating runs indoors and out, and a jungle gym keeps children busy. The cafe describes itself as pet friendly and opens Monday to Saturday from 8am to 3pm, closing on Sundays.
Note from SitnStay: The official site states the cafe is pet friendly. No further rules (leash, seating area) are published; indoor and outdoor seating are both available.
