Strong onshore wind draws kitesurfers and windsurfers most afternoons, while calmer mornings suit walkers and swimmers instead. A row of seafront restaurants and guesthouses sits just behind the dunes. Dogs must stay leashed here, and are kept off the sand between 9am and 6pm from November through March.
