Woodbridge Island Beach

Woodbridge Island sits at the mouth of the Diep River in Milnerton, on the northern edge of Table Bay, framed by the small Milnerton lighthouse and one of Cape Town's clearest views of Table Mountain across the water. The long, flat stretch of sand suits walking and photography more than swimming, given the cold, wind-chopped Atlantic and strong currents. Dogs are a common sight roaming the open sand, and the area keeps a relaxed, local feel rather than a polished resort one.
