Fleur Park

Fleur Park sits in the heart of Lyttelton Manor, Centurion, ringed by a primary school, a church and family homes. After years of litter and broken fencing left it neglected, residents led by the Lyttelton Ratepayers Association have spent the past year clearing rubbish, restoring benches and planting a rose garden. Schoolchildren gather here each afternoon waiting for transport. It functions as a genuine neighbourhood green space rather than a polished attraction, with community ownership still very much in progress.
