Kronendal Park

This open-field park sits on Kronendal Street in Edgemead, a residential suburb developed in the 1960s on Cape Town's northern side. It has no fencing or dedicated dog obstacles, so recall and leash control matter more here, but locals bring dogs for a run and a stretch of grass to play fetch. Entry is free and there are no on-site water fountains, so pack a bowl and bottle before a visit.
