Onderstepoort Veterinary Academic Hospital

South Africa's largest veterinary referral hospital, run by the University of Pretoria's Faculty of Veterinary Science at Onderstepoort. Specialist teams treat companion animals, horses, farm animals, and wildlife, working alongside referring vets on advanced diagnostics and specialised treatment. As an academic and research institution, cases here often draw on the latest evidence-based techniques. Emergency care runs 24 hours a day, seven days a week, with dedicated ambulatory services reaching farm animals, horses, and wildlife beyond the hospital site.
