Photo: Ouma Isie's Tea Garden and Restaurant
Restaurant · Centurion, Gauteng
A tea garden and restaurant set on the historical farm of General Jan Smuts and his wife Ouma Isie, in Irene, Centurion, near the Smuts House grounds. Guests come for brunch, lunch or an early breakfast among manicured gardens, with a menu built around fresh, local flavours and a famous fig jam scone. The setting suits baby showers, birthdays and small gatherings as much as a quiet weekday meal.
