Pet Pals is a no-kill animal shelter and rehoming project in Wilsonia, East London, founded in 2011 by Sue Kriel. Roughly 300 rescued dogs and cats live on site while volunteers rehabilitate and prepare them for adoption, covering feeding, de-worming and flea treatment, and veterinary care. The shelter runs on donations and volunteer support rather than government funding, and also offers a low-cost sterilisation project for pets in the surrounding community.
