The East London SPCA, founded in 1914 and based in Amalinda, is an animal welfare charity focused on rescue, adoption and cruelty prevention rather than commercial pet boarding. Services include animal rehoming, sterilisation and vaccination drives, wildlife assistance, humane education and a 24-hour cruelty-reporting line. The organisation runs kennels, catteries and a farmyard to house rescued animals, and communicates mainly through Facebook alongside its website.
Note from SitnStay: Functions as a rescue and adoption shelter rather than a public boarding facility; kennels and catteries house animals awaiting rehoming, not paying boarders.
