Point

Point is a surf beach at the start of Jeffreys Bay's well-known wave corridor in the Eastern Cape, the same stretch of coast that runs on toward the famous Supertubes break further along. It is a working surf spot rather than a manicured tourist beach, backed by dune scrub, with dolphins often seen offshore. Dogs are generally welcome on Jeffreys Bay's beaches, though the town asks owners to keep them on a leash and stay clear of protected areas.
