Rocklands Petting Farm sits at the foot of the Kleinrivier Mountains on the R43 outside Hermanus, where visitors can hand-feed and interact with goats, sheep, pigs, ducks, fowl and the odd baboon or peacock. There's a children's play area and braai facilities for a family day out, with a modest entrance fee and small buckets of feed sold on site. The farm asks visitors to supervise interactions closely, noting the animals take priority and may react unpredictably.
Note from SitnStay: No dog-specific visitor policy could be verified across the farm's Facebook page and third-party travel listings; the entrance fee is a general per-person admission charge, not a pet fee.
