A family-run boarding kennel in Assagay, on Durban's outer west, Shongweni Kennels & Cattery runs 106 dog kennels and twelve cat runs. Kevin and Jo Packer have owned it since 2003, aiming to care for every boarder as if it were their own, with structured daily routines and on-site staff. It's a straightforward, supervised option for owners who need a secure place to leave dogs or cats while away.
