Restaurant · Hermanus, Western Cape
High in the Hemel-en-Aarde Valley about 15 km from Hermanus, this wine-estate restaurant looks out over vineyards, fynbos slopes and the Cape fold mountains. The kitchen runs a seasonal, locally sourced menu that leans on Walker Bay seafood, lamb and beef, paired with the estate's own wines and Cap Classique. Lunch is served from midday, with a fireplace indoors for cooler days and a patio for sunny ones. A 2026 diner reported their dog was welcomed on the outdoor patio; there is no written pet policy, so confirm when booking.
Note from SitnStay: No published pet policy. A diner review from August 2026 reports a dog being welcomed at an outdoor patio table; the estate's self-catering cottages list pets by arrangement. Confirm with the restaurant when reserving.
