Tucked into a 17-acre private nature reserve off the R102 Old South Coast Road at Pennington, well south of Durban, this craft cafe doubles as the home of Basset Breweries. The kitchen is known for homemade oxtail, lamb and pork pies, wood-fired pizzas and burgers, with the brewery's own beers and gins to drink in or take away. Two bass-fishing dams, nature trails, picnic spots and a children's play area fill the grounds. Dogs of all sizes are welcome and get treats, with space to roam.
Note from SitnStay: Listed as pet friendly for small, medium and large dogs, with treats offered to visiting dogs and extensive farm grounds to explore. No leash or fee rules are published.
