Bollards Bay Beach

Bollard Bay sits on Leisure Island in Knysna, with calm, shallow water suited to swimming and wading rather than surf. At low tide it's possible to walk the shore all the way to the Knysna Heads, and the beach is used for kiteboarding, windsurfing, canoeing and sailing once the tide rises. It's a free, family-oriented spot known for a quieter, more sheltered feel than Knysna's more exposed beaches, and local guides describe it as welcoming to pet owners too.
