Constantia Greenbelt is a network of nine linked green corridors threading through the Constantia Valley's southern suburbs, following streams beneath oak and forest canopy. It's used daily by dog walkers, mountain bikers, horse riders and birdwatchers, and connects toward trails near Table Mountain National Park. Under the City's animal by-law, dogs are generally required on a leash, but the City has designated off-leash sections in some of the greenbelts, marked with signage.
Note from SitnStay: Dogs are welcome. City of Cape Town by-law requires a leash by default, with specific stretches of the greenbelt network designated off-leash and marked by official signage — check local signs before letting a dog run free.
