Photo: CoffeeTalks Cafe
Restaurant · Bloemfontein, Free State
A family-run garden cafe on the grounds of Mizpah Lodge in Rayton, near the Free State Botanical Garden and only a short detour off the N1 through Bloemfontein. The kitchen leans Mediterranean and Middle Eastern, built around mezze plates meant for sharing, with plenty of vegetarian and vegan choices, house-ground spices and Turkish-style coffee. Free wifi and shady tables make it a popular workspace, there are over fifty board games to borrow, and donkeys and ducks wander the smallholding. Visitors describe it as a dog-friendly breakfast stop.
Note from SitnStay: Visitors describe the cafe as dog friendly, with seating in a garden shared with free-roaming donkeys and ducks, so keep dogs leashed and calm around the animals. No formal pet policy is published on the official site.
