La Bourgogne Farm

La Bourgogne is a working wine and olive farm on Excelsior Road in the Franschhoek valley, tracing back to one of the area's first Huguenot farms, granted in 1694 and still run today by the Le Roux family. Beneath old oak trees beside vineyards, olive groves and fruit orchards, visitors can taste five wines and three olive oils with bread, table olives and preserves, or spread a picnic blanket on the lawns by the Franschhoek River. It describes itself as child and pet friendly.
